Georgia Southern University's Department of Campus Recreation & Intramurals (CRI) is pleased to host the NCCS Regional Basketball Championships. It is both an honor and a privilege to be selected to host this prestigious event on our campus the weekend of February 22-24, 2013. We are excited to welcome the tournament to the city of Statesboro and extend an invitation to your intramural sports teams to join us for an exciting weekend of competitive basketball.
Both championship games will be broadcast LIVE on Sunday, February 24 starting at 2 p.m. EST. The livestream below will begin at approximately 1:45 p.m. EST.
Tournament Information
Dates: Friday, February 22 - Sunday, February 24, 2013
Location: Recreation Activity Center (RAC), Statesboro, GA
Divisions: Men's and Women's
Entry Deadline: The final entry deadline is Friday, February 15, 2013
Entry Fee: $300 per team
Format: The tournament format will consist of round robin pool play. The top two teams from each 3-team pool and the top three teams from each 4-team pool will advance to a single-elimination tournament. Tournament games will begin Friday evening and conclude on Sunday afternoon.
Team Registration: Friday, February 22, 3:00 PM - 4:45 PM, Recreation Activity Center (RAC) Lobby
Captain's Meeting: Mandatory Captain's Meeting - Friday, February 22, 5:00 PM at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC) MAC Gym
Awards: Champions in each of the Men's and Women's divisions will receive a paid team entry fee and travel stipend to the NCCS Basketball National Championships at N.C. State University, April 11-14, 2013.

Medical: Certified athletic trainers will be available to provide injury and preventative care.
