Acclaimed economic sustainability consultant Majora Carter will speak at Georgia Southern as part of the University’s Sustainability Seminar Series in a lecture entitled “Green the Ghetto, and How Much it Won’t Cost Us". This event will kick off the February 2010 edition of the LivinGreen 30 Day Challenge!

LivinGreen Guidelines

  1. Sign up for the desired LivinGreen challenge option
    • See Challenge Options
    • Sign up at CRI member services or the Office of Student Affairs
  2. Follow as many of the suggestions as you can on the website listed under Guidelines, and Other Strategies
  3. As you complete a LivinGreen activity, take a picture (i.e. If you go shopping and use a reusable shopping bag, take a *photo of yourself doing this activity)
  4. Submit all photos to wellness@georgiasouthern.edu by November 2, 2009 @ Noon

NOTE:

All participants must check the LivinGreen site as well as emails for regular LivinGreen updatesAll participants must attend the prize drawing on Wednesday November 4, 2009 in the RAC lobby

Participants who attend the events on the LivinGreen calendar as well as those who take and return photos will receive additional entries into the grand prize drawing

* Please have the event coordinator sign the event verification form if you attend

* Photos will be utilized to display your accomplishments as well as to promote the LivinGreen challenge in the future. Please note that when a photo is submitted, you are releasing the photo to the University Wellness Program. Therefore that photo becomes property of the program and can be used in any way the University Program Director deems necessary.
