Operation I.D

Operation Identification is the engraving of your valuables to deter burglars and also to prove ownership should the article be stolen and recovered by law enforcement. Permanently marked valuables are usually not taken because they are more difficult for burglars to dispose of and if they are stolen, they are more easily recognized and returned to their rightful owners. An inventory list of all your valuables should also be made and kept in a safe place. Engravers and Operation I.D.
