Service Officer Escort

The University Police Department offers a nighttime walking escort service to any students, faculty or staff. This service is provided from the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. every Sunday evening through Friday evening. Our service officers are uniformed students employed and equipped by the University Police Department. They also serve to assist officers by patrolling buildings on campus when not performing escorts. To request a Service Officer Escort, call UPD at 478-5234, tell them you need an escort and give them your current location and where you need to go. A uniformed escort officer will meet you and walk you to your destination.

• If you need to walk alone let a friend know
• Always be cautious of your environment
• Never be afraid to ask for assistance
